Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens Toys

The much-anticipated Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens film is scheduled to be released, by Walt Disney Pictures, on December 18, 2015. It is the continuing Star Wars saga where “Return of the Jedi” left off which was released back in 1983.

A Star Wars prequel trilogy was released during the year 1999 and 2005. Ever since the first Star Wars film (A New Hope) was released way back in 1977, it became a world-wide phenomenon of sorts and the fan base continued to grow.

If you are a huge fan of the Star Wars film series franchise, you are a collector of sorts. And a contributor to the Guinness World Record that the Star Wars franchise holds for the Most Successful Film Merchandising Franchise.

With the new Star Wars movie scheduled to be released in December 2015, I won’t be surprised if Star Wars toys and other merchandise will be among the top sold toys in 2015. With Halloween just around the corner, Star Wars costumes will be flying off the shelves as well. And given the enormous number of fans, it won’t surprise me if many of the Star Wars merchandise will go out of stock.
