On June 21, 2010, the Associate Press reported that Amazon cut Kindle (e-reader) price to below $200. I just confirmed that this is indeed the case. If you click on the Kindle picture on the left, you will notice that Kindle Wireless Reading Device now costs US$189 plus taxes.
The online retailer Amazon.com has previously reduced the price of the Kindle device which was originally priced at $399.
The price drop is probably because of the recently launched very popular and hot device, the iPad. Either way, it's great news for consumers!
